Youth Flag Football League 2025

  • ·         7 on 7 youth flag football league
    • Jersey, shorts, and mouthpiece provided
    • 10 regular season games for all divisions
    • Playoffs and championship games for all divisions except 7U
  • Ages 6 to 17; age as of August 31, 2026
    • Must turn 6 by August 31, 2026; cannot turn 18 before August 31, 2026
    • For the upcoming 2025-26 school year, 5 year olds must be entering kindergarten; 17 year olds cannot be entering 12th grade
  • League Divisions:
    • 7U Instructional – ages 6 to 7, kindergarten to 1st grade
    • 9U – ages 8 to 9, 2nd to 3rd grade
    • 11U – ages 10 to 11, 4th to 5th grade
    • 14U – ages 12 to 14, 6th to 8th grade
    • 17U – ages 15 to 17, 9th to 11th grade
  • Player evaluations to be held at Sabal Pines Park baseball field #2, 5005 NW 39th Avenue
    • Coaches only draft to be held immediately after evaluations
    • 7U Instructional – no evaluations; players will be placed randomly on teams
    • 9U – Wednesday, July 9th, at 6:30 PM
    • 11U – Tuesday, July 8th, at 6:30 PM
    • 14U – Monday, July 7th, at 6:30 PM
    • 17U – Thursday, July 10th, at 6:30 PM
  • Practices start the week of July 14th; games start August 19th; championship scheduled for October 18th
    • Practice days, times, and locations to be determined by coaches, will be communicated after teams are formed, and are subject to change based on weather and availability
    • Games for all divisions will be held at Sabal Pines Park
  • Game Days per Division:
    • Subject to change based on enrollment count, weather, and field availability
      • Games rescheduled due to weather will be determined by availability
    • 7U Instructional – Wednesdays and Saturdays
    • 9U – Tuesdays and Saturdays
    • 11U – Wednesdays and Saturdays
    • 14U – Wednesdays and Saturdays
    • 17U – Tuesdays and Saturdays
  • $120 for Coconut Creek residents; $170 for non-residents
    • Credit card payment only
        • The following items must be provided to qualify as a Coconut Creek resident:
          • State-issued driver’s license or valid passport as parent identification
          • One of the following as proof of residency - valid voter registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill; bills to be no more than 2 months from date of submission
        • Volunteer coaches needed

          • Application and background screening with fingerprinting required
          • Lack of volunteer coaches could affect the maximum capacity of divisions resulting either in registration of the affected divisions closing prematurely or redistribution of division ages
        • Registration Details:
          • Registration open April 21st through June 21st or until full per division
          • Register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or by walk-in at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, or at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
            • You must have a WebTrac account prior to registering online

          • In order that a participant’s age and legal guardianship are visually verified, a copy of their birth certificate may be required to be brought to either walk-in location
