A Building Permit is necessary for all new construction as well as for any alterations, replacements, or removals of existing structures, covering all disciplines such as structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical according to the Florida Building Code. The Building Division offers various services to residents, developers, and contractors, helping the City uphold high building standards and protect neighborhood property values. Our staff is here to assist and guide homeowners and contractors through the permit process for new constructions, renovations, and expansions of existing structures.
