Daughter of a US ARMY “Golden Knight”, she became an ENFORCER to her two younger siblings, growing up in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Jenna’s Public Safety service to the community of Coconut Creek began in 1997 as a Communications Operator. She held that position for four years while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Florida Atlantic University. In 2001, she was hired a sworn Police Officer where she held the position as Field Training Officer before becoming a Detective in 2005. During her eleven-year tenure as a Detective, she was awarded the Governor’s Award for Victims Rights (2012) and earned her Master’s Degree in Investigative Forensics from Nova Southeastern University. Jenna was promoted to Sergeant in 2014 and lead a Patrol Team for three years. Jenna was appointed to the Traffic Service Unit in March 2019. A little over a year later she made Lieutenant. She was promoted to the rank of Captain in the fall of 2022, the highest-ranking woman in the history of the department.
