Patrol Team 4 & K9 Unit Supervisor

Lieutenant Brandi DeVecchhio began her career in law enforcement in 1998 with the City of Coral Springs as a Police Service Aide. In 2001, she was sworn in as a law enforcement officer with Coconut Creek Police Department.  During her tenure, she was a Patrol Officer, School Resource Officer, and Crime Prevention Liaison. She was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on March 8, 2012, and assigned to the Patrol Division. She is a proud member of the Coconut Creek Honor Guard and supervises the Homeless Education Assessment Resource Team (HEART). She was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in the fall of 2018.
