Ryan Nemesek

In honor of Veteran Day this week, our Red Honor recognition spotlights one of our Veterans. Meet Fire Captain Ryan Nemesek, United States Navy (1995-1999). Born and raised in Coral Springs, Ryan was first intrigued by the idea of fire rescue when working as a bartender at a local tavern. He had a regular customer who was a fire fighter. He would tell story after story of rescue operations. Ryan knew fire rescue was for him and decided to take the leap and join the Coral Springs Fire Academy. He was hired by Margate and served faithfully for 18 years. He is excited about being a part of the inaugural staff of the Coconut Creek Fire Rescue and is looking forward to serving our residents.
