Instructional Chess Club

Add to:
  • Open chess play for elementary school students and adults
    • Players without chess experience are welcome
    • Staff will assist beginners with the rules and basic strategies
    • Session 1, elementary school students, ages 5 to 11
      • Wednesdays, February 15th to March 15th
      • 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
      • Session 2, adults, ages 18 and up
        • Fridays, March 3rd to March 31st
        • 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
        • $20 per session for Coconut Creek residents; $30 for non-residents
            • Credit card payment only; no cash or checks currently being accepted
            • Held at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
            • Registration Details:
              • Registration is ongoing until filled; space is limited to 8 participants per session
                • Register online at www.CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or by walk-in at the Recreation Complex or at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
