Youth Theater Program

  • Learn aspects of theater through techniques and materials, including character breakdown, direction, vocal projecting as well as set and prop building
    • Program concludes with a live performance of Disney’s “Aladdin Kids”
    • Participants will be assigned a part following an audition
  • Ages 8 to 14
  • September 7th through December 9th (auditions Thursday, September 7th, at 6:30 PM)
    • Wednesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
    • Saturdays, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
    • No classes on September 14th, 16th, 30th, November 11th, 23rd
    • Live performance on Saturday, December 9th
  • $185 for Coconut Creek residents; $215 for non-residents
    • Credit card payment only; no cash or checks currently being accepted
    • Includes script and performance materials
    • Participants are responsible for their costume
  • Held at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
  • Registration Details:
    • Registration is ongoing until full; space is limited to 25 participants
    • Register online at www.CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or via walk-in at the Recreation Complex or at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
