Flag Football League 2024

  • 7 on 7 youth flag football league

          (must turn 5 by September 1, 2024; cannot turn 17 before September 1, 2024)

    • Jersey, shorts, and mouthpiece provided
    • 10 regular season games for all divisions
    • Playoffs and championship games for all divisions except 7U
  • Ages 5 to 16
    • Must be entering kindergarten, cannot be entering 12th grade; upcoming 2024-2025 grade
  • League Divisions:
    • 7U division, instructional – ages 5 to 7, kindergarten to 1st grade
    • 9U division – ages 8 to 9, 2nd to 3rd grade
    • 11U division – ages 10 to 11, 4th to 5th grade
    • 13U division – ages 12 to 13, 6th to 7th grade
    • 16U division – ages 14 to 16, 8th to 11th grade
    • League divisions may change based on enrollment
  • Player evaluations to be held the week of June 24th
    • Location, date, and time to be determined
  • Practices start the week of July 1st; games start July 27th; championship scheduled for September 28th
    • Practice days, times, and locations to be determined by coaches, will be communicated after teams are formed, and are subject to change based on weather and availability
  • Game Days per Division:
    • 7U division – Wednesdays and Fridays
    • 9U division – Tuesdays and Saturdays
    • 11U division – Wednesdays and Saturdays
    • 13U division – Wednesdays and Saturdays
    • 16U division – Tuesdays and Saturdays
      • Subject to change based on enrollment count, weather, and field availability
      • Games rescheduled due to weather will be determined by availability
  • Practices will be held at either Sabal Pines Park, 5005 NW 39th Avenue, or George S. Gerber Park, 4715 NW 30th Street
    • Practice days, times, and locations to be determined by coaches, will be communicated after teams are formed, and are subject to change based on weather and availability
  • Games for all divisions will be held at Sabal Pines Park
  • $120 for Coconut Creek residents; $170 for non-residents
      • The following items must be provided to qualify as a Coconut Creek resident:
        • State-issued driver’s license or valid passport as parent identification
        • One of the following as proof of residency - valid voter registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill; bills to be no more than 2 months from date of submission
        • Volunteer coaches needed

          • Application and background screening with fingerprinting required
          • Lack of volunteer coaches could affect the maximum capacity of divisions resulting in registration of the affected divisions closing prematurely
        • Registration Details:
          • Registration open April 8th  through May 31st or until full per division
          • Register online at CoconutCreek.net/Webtrac or by walk-in at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, or at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
            • You must have a WebTrac account prior to registering online

          • In order that a participant’s age and legal guardianship are visually verified, a copy of their birth certificate may be required to be brought to either walk-in location
