Youth Soccer League

Join the Creek Sports Soccer League for an exciting season of soccer for girls and boys aged 5 to 16 (age as of February 29, 2024)! Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience on the field, this league offers a great opportunity for them to learn, grow, and have fun.

Here are the key details you need to know:

• Age Divisions: We have various age divisions, which are subject to change depending on registrations. The divisions include:

  • Ages 5 to 6 (6U) Coed Instructional
  • Ages 7 to 8 (8U) Boys
  • Ages 7 to 9 (9U) Girls
  • Ages 9 to 10 (10U) Boys
  • Ages 10 to 11 (11U) Girls
  • Ages 11 to 12 (12U) Boys
  • Ages 12 to 16 (16U) Girls
  • Ages 13 to 16 (16U) Boys

• Season Details: The league consists of a 10-game season, including playoffs and championships.

• Uniforms: Jersey, shorts, and socks are provided to all players.

• Player Evaluations and Practices: Player evaluations, drafts, and clinics will be held in September. Practices start in October, and games begin in November. The specific dates and times for evaluations, drafts, and clinics will be available at registration.

• Game Days and Locations: Game days are subject to change based on registration and availability. The game schedule is as follows:

  • 6U, 8U, 9U, 10U, and 16U divisions: Saturdays (some games may be scheduled on a weekday)
  • 11U Girls: Tuesdays
  • 12U Boys: Wednesdays
  • Games may be played multiple times in a week. In case of inclement weather, rescheduled games will be determined based on availability.

• Fees: The registration fee is $120 for Coconut Creek residents and $170 for non-residents. Please note that only credit card payments are accepted at this time.

• Locations: Practices and games will be held at George S. Gerber Memorial Park (4715 NW 30th Street) and/or Sabal Pines Park (5005 NW 39th Avenue).

• Volunteer Coaches: We are in need of volunteer coaches. If you're interested, please contact the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580. Please note that an application and background screening with fingerprinting are required.

• Registration Details: Registration will be open from July 1 through August 31 or until spaces are filled (limited availability). To register, you must visually verify the player's age and legal guardianship by bringing a copy of their birth certificate to either the walk-in locations. Coconut Creek residents must also provide proof of residency, such as a state-issued driver's license or valid passport for identification, and a voter registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill (dated no more than 2 months from submission) as proof of residency.
