George S. Gerber Memorial Park

This park was named after former City Commissioner George S. Gerber.  His wife Commissioner Marilyn Gerber, succeeded him after he passed away serving the community for 17 years before retiring in 2013. Gerber has athletic fields for permitting, basketball courts, jogging/walking paths, picnic amenities, playground, restrooms and a sand volleyball court.

Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt

    • After all the candy canes are found, hot chocolate will be provided

  • $15 per child for Coconut Creek residents; $20 per child for non-residents

  • Held at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road

    • Registration is ongoing until full; space is limited to 20 participants per session
