Sabal Pines Park

The largest of Coconut Creek's city-run parks, Sabal Pines Park boasts 9 athletic fields, surrounded by protected cypress wetlands. Developed with financial assistance from the 1998 Florida Legislature through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, this park opened on January 13, 2001. To further benefit the area's youth, 3 new athletic fields were constructed in 2012 and dedicated on February 6, 2013.

Toy Drive Flag Football Tournament
- A single elimination 5 on 5 flag football tournament for boys and girls
- Games are 12 minutes, running clock
- Maximum of 7 players per team; 5 player minimum

- Two age divisions; ages 8 to 10 and ages 11 to 13

- A donation of one new unwrapped gift per player requested for participation
- Held at Sabal Pines Park, 5005 NW 39th Avenue, east football field
- Registration Details:
- Team registration is ongoing until December 5th or until full
- 6 teams maximum per age division
- Pre-registration is mandatory; no registration waivers or added players will be accepted on day of tournament
- All players must be placed on team roster by parent/coach prior to day of the tournament; parents of players will need to provide signature day of event
- Walk in registration is accepted at both the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, and the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
